Critical Tinkering is parent-facing. Parents and guardians enroll children; we do not ask children to create Critical Tinkering accounts or submit information directly through this website.

We collect the parent’s name and email, selected class time, child age, and, when provided, neighborhood and Roblox or coding experience. We also receive payment and transaction records and normal website and device analytics.

We use this information for enrollment, payment processing, class planning, parent communication, customer support, fraud and security, and aggregate site and marketing analytics.

Our current providers include Stripe for payments, Resend for email, PostHog for analytics, and Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by Critical Tinkering. These third-party services have their own privacy practices.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use a child’s personal information for advertising.

Parents may ask to access, correct, or delete information by emailing hello@criticaltinkering.nyc.

We retain data only as reasonably necessary to operate the program, keep records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
